On June 13, 2018, a conference was held in the premises of the Nitra Invest building as part of the Opportunities in Central & Eastern Europe – Focus on the Slovak Republic event, organized by The Voice of Automotive Business agency in cooperation with the British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.
The conference was held for the purpose of presenting work and business opportunities in Nitra, specifically in the Nitra Sever industrial park, to potential British investors. Among the participants were members of many British and Slovak companies such as: Aflex Hose Ltd, Arlington Automotive, CastAlum, Clamason Slovakia s.r.o., MECHATRONIC spol. s.r.o., CT Automotive and others. During the meeting, several facts were presented to the participants that make the city of Nitra and its location a very advantageous and promising industrial area. The proof of this perspective is the development of the city in recent years and at the same time the expected and expected growth in the near future. Ondrej Ščurka Jr., managing director of Nitra Invest, presented the development of the industrial park – its construction and gradual growth and presented the wide possibilities it offers.
Many of the participants were interested in locating their operations in the Central European area, but the greatest interest was concentrated in the automotive area. It was mainly about the possibility of joining supplier networks.
